Now that I know what do I do?
Nice Day For A Studio Visit

Fons Schiedon (The Netherlands, 1980) lives and works in Berlin. Revolving around concepts of narratives and representation, his work primarily explores the principle of Ƭmake believeƮ. He creates his work by staging sessions with actors, employing animation and implementing found footage. The work often makes intensive use of digital post-production, both to obscure and reveal traces of manipulation. Occasionally he appears in front of the camera, clad in a dark blue bath robe, using self-built tools to produce works of art in filmed performances. In February 2011 he was shot and killed during a performance. The role of fiction in daily life and the processes involved in manufacturing stories were core themes in his most comprehensive exhibition to date, A man with a plan (2011; MU, Eindhoven), featuring multiple video installations alongside sculpture and painting.
