Beautiful promises (des lendemains radieux) (2006) Territories such as landscapes, landscapes such as climates, climates such as gestures. Des lendemains radieux (Beautiful promises) is an attempt to reconsider our environment through the prismes of prospective and poetry, in order to reveal modestly the upheavals that are to envision, by awakening the attention about the extraordinary interactions between the man and the nature. CAST Vilhjálmur Yngvi Hjálmarsson / SUPPORTED by La ville de Montréal I Programme culture 2000 de la commission européenne / NKD, the Nordic Artists' Center, Dale / PRIM Montréal / Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes / Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec

Montagnes (2009) shows a mineral world in motion, by the succession of landscapes where we see rising from the mountains, in a strange temporality. The soundtrack suggests a powerful volcanic activity underground and disturbing, then gradually introduces us to Trio in E Flat-0 by Schubert.
